Austin Resource Recovery (ARR) is updating its Administrative Rules to reflect current departmental practices and is seeking public input on those updates. ARR's Administrative Rules, as it relates to City of Austin Code Chapter 15-6, assists the department in the implementation, administration, and enforcement of Austin code and operating requirements. These services include the collection of trash, recycling, composting, household hazardous waste materials, brush and bulk items and dead animals, street sweeping and litter control services.
Updates to the rules will be posted in separate sections to allow ample time for review and comment. This page will be updated throughout the process as rule changes are ready for review.
