Workship Details: 

What does it mean to create and preserve housing opportunities that stabilize communities? This is the mission of Austin Housing, and we want to engage in dialogue with the community about how to access services that bring stability to you and your community.

Join us for a hands-on workshop where we explore the resources available through the City of Austin’s Housing Department. Come ready to share your own needs and what stability means to you.  Walk away with the ability to connect housing resources with those who need them.  

This session will be a 3-part discussion:

• Community Dialogue (30 min) – What does stability mean to you? 
• Home Repair (30 min) – How can City resources help homeowners make repairs and modifications so they can stay in their homes?  
• Renter Resources (30 min) – How does the City address the needs of vulnerable residents and support tenants’ rights?
